Chemistry

At the beginning of each day, a character with Chemistry or Herbalism has a number of Crafting Points (CP) equal to their max MP. These Crafting Points may be used to craft any combination of bombs or restorative items, as long as the character knows the recipe and has access to their crafting set. These items are spoiled if they are not used by the end of the day. Each talent teaches a new recipe.

Level 1 Talents

Grenade
1 CP
Choose fire, ice, or lightning when you craft the grenade. A character may throw a grenade to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Area burst 1 within 5; Targets: creatures in the burst
Attack: PAtk vs. Ref
Hit: 2d6 fire, ice, or lightning damage

Smoke Bomb
1 CP
A character may throw a smoke bomb to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Area burst 1 within 5
Effect: Squares within the burst are heavily obscured until the end of your next turn, at which point they become lightly obscured until the end of the encounter.

Level 2 Talents

Mute Mask
2 CP
A character may throw a mute mask to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Area burst 1 within 5; Targets: creatures in the burst
Attack: PAtk vs. Ref
Hit: The target is silenced (save ends).

Malboro Breath
2 CP
A character may throw a bottle of malboro breath to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Area burst 1 within 5; Targets: creatures in the burst
Attack: PAtk vs. Fort
Hit: 2d6 poison damage.
Effect: the burst creates a zone of poison gas until the end of the encounter. Creatures that end their turn in the zone take 5 poison damage.

Level 3 Talents

Hourglass
4 CP
A character may throw an hourglass to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Range 5; Targets: one creature
Attack: PAtk vs. Will
Hit: 2d6 gravity damage and the target is dazed and slowed (save ends both).

Ink Bomb
4 CP
A character may throw an ink bomb to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Area burst 1 within 5; Targets: creatures in burst
Attack: PAtk vs. Ref
Hit: the target is blinded (save ends).

Level 4 Talent

Dark Matter
8 CP
A character may throw a dark matter to make the following attack:
Standard Action
Range 5; Targets: one creature
Attack: PAtk vs. Ref
Hit: the target takes dark damage equal to your bloodied value.
Miss: half damage.
